I am currently on a journey to discover new Hispanic and Mexican restaurants in the Stateline area of Wisconsin. My most recent stop was at La Guacamaya Mexican Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff was extremely friendly and nice. My waiter, in particular, was very attentive to my needs while dining. This made for a great dining experience.One of the highlights of my visit to La Guacamaya was the salsa they had. It was super flavorful and mild, making it the perfect accompaniment to my meal. I ordered a steak burrito and a chicken taco, both of which were very filling and packed full of taste and flavor. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful.In addition to the delicious food, I also asked for a super hot salsa for my burrito. The hot salsa added a nice kick to the burrito and made it even more enjoyable to eat. I always appreciate when a restaurant offers a variety of salsas so that customers can customize their meal to their preferences.After eating, I had a great conversation with the owner and his wife. They were passionate about Mexican cuisine, and they shared their story with me. It was clear that they put a lot of care and love into the food they served, and it showed in the quality of the dishes. It was great to learn more about the restaurant and the people behind it.Overall, my visit to La Guacamaya Mexican Restaurant was a great experience. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the conversation with the owner and his wife was enlightening. I will be continuing my journey on exploring our Stateline area for new Hispanic and Mexican restaurants, and I can't wait to see what other great finds I will discover.

TACOS NENO Featuring on Exploring the Stateline's Mexican and Hispanic Restaurants

I recently had the pleasure of visiting El Neno Tacos & Tortas in Beloit, Wisconsin for lunch. Located at 946 Wisconsin Ave, this Mexican restaurant did not disappoint. I ordered the enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on and the dish was cooked to perfection. The enchilada was filled with a delicious blend of meats, cheeses, and spices, making for a truly satisfying and flavorful meal.But the real star of the show was the super hot red salsa. It was definitely not for the faint of heart, as it packed a real punch of heat. But even with the intense level of spiciness, the flavor was amazing. I found myself going back for more, despite the heat.Overall, my experience at El Neno Tacos & Tortas was fantastic. I left feeling satisfied and stuffed, and I can't wait to go back again. I'm also excited to explore other Mexican and Hispanic restaurants in the Stateline community, and I highly recommend El Neno Tacos & Tortas to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine.

Families Fighting Addiction, Inc.'s Event

Hello, It is that time again and this year's Annual Overdose Awareness Walk will end with a Memorial lantern release at Riverside Park's lagoon in Beloit on August 28th.The walk begins at 4p at The Rock Bar and Grill's parking lot and ends at the lagoon.We are excited to announce CHARLES TUBBS will be "returning home" to speak to his "hometown" community at 6pm after the walk. He will speak about his son's struggle with addiction and his personal struggle trying to survive the loss of his son. Following this presentation we will have open mic time for anyone that would like to discuss their personal story. A short Memorial service will follow with a lantern release on the lagoon.If you, or someone you know has lost a loved one to a substance overdose and would like to memorialize their life by being a part of the lantern release, please call or text 608-346-9574. The lanterns are being provided by Families Fighting Addiction and are free of charge to our community members. Each family will be given a lantern created specifically for your loved one with your choice of picture attached to the front side, a Memorial saying on the opposite side, leaving 2 sides that you may write a special sentiment of your own prior to the release.
