Nature At The Confluence

Join us in recognizing World Migratory Bird Day, a day meant to celebrate our feathered friends and raise awareness about how we can protect them.

This family-friendly program will begin with an indoor seated presentation by Jennifer Kuroda about local bird conservation efforts, followed by a bird trivia game, and conclude with a guided walk on our Rock River Birding & Hiking Trail. We will also take a close look at the recently completed bird mural on our site.

Jennifer Kuroda is the president of Sinnissippi Audubon and the Audubon Council of Illinois. She has led the Audubon Mural Project in northern Illinois and several other projects, including the ongoing monitoring of Rockford’s breeding pair of peregrine falcons, Brian and Louise.

Cost is $5/person or $10/family (two or more people). Please register below.
