Nature At The Confluence

Join the tradition of celebrating summer at The Confluence! Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or have never picked up a drum, you are invited to participate. We have musical instruments for you to try, or you are welcome to bring your own. Drumming is optional- all are welcome to simply enjoy the fire, listen to the music, and make a s’more. This is a free, family-friendly event and there is no registration. Drumming is led by David Stocker, with occasional guest leaders.

2024 Schedule

May 23rd - Healing Sound Bath led by Missy of The Sacred Tree at 6:00 pm, followed by fire and guided drumming. Sponsored by Beloit Rising Professionals.


June 20th - Guided drumming and a fire dance in celebration of the summer solstice performed by Zach Stephens and Jenny Matthews, co-hosted by Severson Dells Nature Center. Sponsored by First Community Credit Union.


July 18th - Guided drumming followed by Mothing, observe creatures of the night! Sponsored by Mid States Concrete.


August 15th - The Great Turtle Creek Duck Race at 6:00 pm, followed by fire and guided drumming. Sponsored by Cornerstone Credit Union.


September 19th - Healing Sound Bath led by Missy of The Sacred Tree at 6:00 pm, followed by fire and guided drumming. Sponsored by First National Bank and Trust
