Beloit Public Library Expands Language Learning Options with Mango Languages

Beloit, WI – Beloit Public Library (BPL) has introduced a new language-learning platform, Mango Languages, now available to all library cardholders. This addition offers a vast collection of over 70 languages, including popular choices like Spanish, French, Mandarin, and American Sign Language, alongside a selection of indigenous languages and resources tailored for learners of all ages.

Mango Languages replaces Transparent Language Online, which will no longer be available after January 31, 2025. The new service is entirely free for BPL cardholders and provides users with flexible, anytime access. The platform offers an interactive and engaging environment for learners to improve their language skills at their own pace. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine advanced skills, Mango’s customized lessons are suitable for learners at any level.

Mango also includes special features such as Little Pim, a fun, kid-friendly video series, as well as English courses in more than 20 languages. The platform is mobile-friendly, so users can learn on the go or from the comfort of their own home, making it accessible anytime, anywhere.
