Hackett Elementary hosted their annual ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—ข๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—˜๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ in February. This event engages family and community members as guest readers, in order to build community partnerships and celebrate Black History Month. Students were able to interact with different members of the community, learn about their occupations and contributions to our city, and hear some great stories that amplify black voices, history, and excellence.
